Let’s be honest, supple, soft and a hairless face is the goal and desire of most women.
While I’ve always prided myself on having blond facial hair and would wave off the salon employee when she asked if I would like my lip threaded in addition to my eyebrows, recently, whenever I looked in the mirror, my peach fuzz would become more prominent.
Just like an artist needs to start with a clean canvas, I decided that my face should be a naked canvas bereft of fuzz. Being a newbie, I didn’t feel comfortable with a real razor. I recalled all of the bloodied toilet paper pieces blotting my legs when I learned to shave. Plus, I cannot yet get past the visual of using a razor on my face. Baby steps.
