The Guest List

A wedding event not to miss … unless it was going to be the last event you’d ever attend.   A modern take on an Agatha Christie murder mystery, The Guest List by Lucy Foley follows a bride, groom, their wedding party and other guests over a weekend for an island wedding off the coast of Ireland.  The weekend begins like the weather, bright and sunny, and as the weekend progresses and the guests’ past lives come to the forefront, a storm begins to brew.  Like a scavenger hunt, Lucy Foley leaves clues throughout the novel for her readers to find and relish, culminating in a murder as various characters’ lives converge in unforeseen ways.
